Requirements for a Learners Permit are:
- Must be at least 15 and 7 months old
- Proof on enrollment / Graduation of Drivers ED
- Valid proof of Identification
- Cash Payment for Both Examination.
- Signature of parent or legal Guardian on application.
However, Arizona's permits come with restrictions:
- You must have a licensed adult in order to drive at all times.
- You must have your permit for 5 months in order to graduate into a
provisional license.
Full Driving Privileges
A person under 18 years of age may not apply for a license until they have
had their permits / learners license for at least 5 months
The student must also complete a minimum of 30 hours behind the wheel
training with a licensed adult.
