Graduated Licensing Program

In today's society, the Graduated Licensing Program has taken effect in all of the United States. A combination of increased Traffic and technology now being offered such as cell phones, PDA's and texting have made driving more dangerous and put many teens at a disadvantage when it comes to driving. Many accidents have occurred from teen negligence, creating the need for the Graduated Licensing Program to take effect and minimize accidents.
 
For the many who do not know what the Graduated Licensing Program it is a tiered process. Starting with a Learners License or a Driving Permit, a teen slowly progresses toward obtaining a Provisional License by going through a series of steps usually involving supervised driving with an adult and later a provisional license.
 
Most experts have agreed that the protocols and laws of the Graduated Licensing Program have saved many lives by mandating students attend Driver's ED and to practice supervised driving. IN all 50 states, some form of this program exists and many other countries are demanding for similar programs to exist in their home country.
