Indiana Driving Permits
In order to get a drivers permit in Indiana, you must be enrolled in a driver's training program where you will take a Behind the Wheel Training Course. Other than that, getting a drivers permit in Indiana is relatively easy. However, Idaho implements a Graduated License Program and they are:
- Driver Education Permit
- Learner Permit
- Drivers license
Requirements for a Driver's Training Permit
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Certified copy of your Birth Certificate
- Valid Social Security Card
- Photo Identification
- Proof of School Enrollment
- Parental / Guardian Consent and Signature
- Cash Payment for fees and tests
- Must be enrolled in a Drivers Training Program and completed Driver ED
Restrictions:
- Valid only after initial behind the wheel training with an instructor
- Must drive with a licensed relative 21 years or older
Requirements for a Learner Permit
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Certified copy of your birth Certificate
- Valid Social Security Card
- Proof of school Enrollment
- Photo identification
- Proof of School Enrollment
- Parental / Guardian consent and signature
- Must pass a written test.
Restrictions
- Must drive with a licensed relative 21 years or older.
- Must wait 60 days before applying for a full license.
Requirements for a License
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Certified copy of your birth Certificate
- Valid Social Security Card
- Proof of school Enrollment
- Photo identification
- Proof of School Enrollment
- Parental / Guardian consent and signature
- Must have had their learner permit for at least 60 days
- Must pass Vision, written, and Road skill test.
However, an individual cannot drive after 11 PM
