Mississippi Driving Permits

Getting a Learner's License in Mississipi is relatively easy. All you need is to fullfill the requirements and be at least 15 years of age.
Requirements For Learner's Permit

  • 14.5 years of age
  • Enrollment in Drivers Ed
  • Certified birth certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of School Attendance
  • Pass Vision Test
  • Pass Written Test
  • $4 for fees
  • Parent's signature

Restrictions:
Must drive with adult 21 years or older
 
Requirements for Intermediate License

  • Must have had learner's license for at least 1 year
  • Certified birth certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of School Attendance
  • Parent's consent
  • Completed Drivers Ed requirements
  • Pass Driving Test

Restrictions:
Cannot drive after 11PM and before 6AM
No texting
